Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - We are expecting a winter storm on Sunday. NBC12 foreacsting a storm that could drop two to four inches on metro Richmond, with higher totals to the north and west. The storm will start overnight Saturday into Sunday.
Meteorologist Sophia Armata says there may also be some rain mixed in. However, there will not be a whole lot of melting as temperatures will stay cold and we won't see the sun until Tuesday.
This would be the area's first big brush with winter weather this season.
