(Hanover, Va.) -- The Hanover County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing juvenile.

Fourteen-year-old Destiny Rena Ford was last seen in the area of Lewistown Road and Ashcake Road (southeast of Ashland) on the evening of Tuesday, June 16. 

Destiny is descibed as a black female with short brown hair, brown eyes, lip piercing on the right side and a nose piercing on the right side. She is approximately 5'3" tall and 250 pounds. 

Her clothing description is black jeans, white shoes and a tie-dye multi-colored sweatshirt. 

She is believed to be in the metro Richmond area. 

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Destiny Ford is asked to contact the Hanover County Sheriff's Office at (804) 365-6140 or the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
