CVS to Provide Some Covid Vaccine Shots

Including Here in Richmond

Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - CVS will start administering Covid vaccine shots in limited pharmacies in Virginia next week.  The company is receiving 26,000 shots in  Virginia, and will be spreading them among 28 stores, including in Richmond.  Exactly which CVS locations will have the vaccine will be determined later.

Eligible people will be able to book appointments starting on February 9th.  The appointments will start on February 11th.  Bookings can be done through the CVS website, the CVS app, or by calling CVS customer service.

Only those currently eligible to receive the vaccine (teachers, police/fire, and 65+) will be able to get an appointment.  Walk-ins will not be allowed.
